So, I now have a team that reliably takes down fire knight 20. I’ve been struggling to climb difficulty until I got the monster! Here is my team:
- Apothecary (lead)
- Stag Knight
- Coldheart
- Rhazin Scarhide
- Miscreated Monster
The final piece of the puzzle was FINALLY cracking open a shard for MM, otherwise this team is easy to build. I needed something that protected my team, healed itself, could CC the waves, and had multi-hit A1.
I had previously used Skullcrusher in this slot, which worked fairly well, but didn’t keep enough pressure from the waves off me. This forced me to sacrifice Rhazin or Coldheart (Both amazing) for something else with CC like Rae. This would crush the waves, but not really handle the knight himself that well.

What is really important about that is this:
You get everything you need to hamper him, reduce atk, reduce def, weaken, reduced healing. But the biggest is reduced speed, plus my heroes that have reduce turn meter. This keeps him nice and slow.
Individual strengths
Apothecary is great for that defense aura, extra boost of speed, heal, and he has multi-hit A1. Easy to get rare.
I mean you’re taking Coldheart for that heart seeker right? But, she’s also awesome here for her A1 multi-hit and inflicting heal reduction. Easy to get rare.
This guy is just a boss. He’s really great here with the multi-hit A1 inflicting speed reduce. A2 gives you lots of other great debuffs. Relatively easy to get and most people should have him from the Battle pass event.
Rhazin is just an all-star. Available to every account with fusion (you should really be working on that..) Very tanky, great debuffs on the A2, Multi-hit A1, reduce turn meter. Can’t go wrong with him almost anywhere.
This guy is what really did it for me. He’s able to protect the team and CC the waves ensuring that the whole team survives through to the boss. He takes care of himself, shields the team, has multi-hit A1 again to break the shield. A+
I still have small problems here and there with Coldheart getting one-shot by the boss sometimes, which causes me to fail, but I’ll increase some of my speeds, and shouldn’t have much of an issue anymore.
